  1. The Rams (7-4) have now lost three straight games after a 36-25 loss to the Green Bay Packers. 
  2. The Chargers lost to the Denver Broncos 28-13 to fall to 6-5. 
  3.  Michigan beat Ohio State 42-27 Saturday to improve to 11-1 on the year. 
  4. Alabama scored with 24 seconds left in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 10 and went on to beat Auburn 24-22 in four overtimes in the Iron Bowl Saturday. 
  5. Pasadena City College beat Santa Ana 28-21 Saturday night in the Southern California Bowl. 
  6. UCLA routed Cal 42-14 Saturday to finish the regular season at 8-4. 
  7. AP College Football Top 5: 1. Georgia 2. Michigan 3. Cincinnati 4. Alabama 5. Oklahoma St. 
  8. Arlington, who beat Montclair 23-0 to win the Division 13 championship Friday night, started the season 0-7. 
  9. Florida hired Louisiana coach Billy Napier as its new head football coach. 
  10. Former Dodgers announcer, the legendary Vin Scully, turns 94 today.

    Rams are toast. They were never really in the game. Despite numerous breaks their inconstancies are obvious. But to my eye is their lack of fire and team leadership. Football is the one game where team fire is more essential than a top QB. Ram players to busy counting their money.
