  1. The Rams celebrated their Super Bowl championship Wednesday with a parade and a rally at the LA Coliseum. 
  2. Former Los Altos head football coach Travis Brown has joined the staff at Bishop Amat. 
  3. This fall is the final year for Gladstone High School. Gladstone is merging with Azusa and will become a middle school in the fall of 2023. 
  4. Baseball: Covina beat La Salle 8-5 Wednesday in the Pizza Chalet Tournament. 
  5. Covina has hired a new head football coach. Announcement is coming soon pending all of the paperwork as per Covina Athletics on Twitter. 
  6. Michigan has extended head football coach Jim Harbaugh’s contract through 2026. 
  7. Free agent MLB pitcher Matt Harvey is facing possible suspension by the league after saying that he provided opioids to Tyler Skaggs on several occasions. Skaggs passed away of a drug overdose in July 2019 while a pitcher for the Angels. 
  8. The Atlanta Falcons released outside linebacker Dante Fowler Jr. Wednesday.
  9. The Minnesota Vikings hired Rams OC Kevin O’Connell as their new head coach. 
  10. Longtime Washington Nationals star Ryan Zimmerman announced his retirement Tuesday. Zimmerman retires as the Nationals’ career leader in games, runs, hits, total bases, doubles, home runs and RBIs.
