He was not discarded. He did not want to go. The new school admin inherited a situation that they couldn’t control. Things didn’t happen that were supposed to happen, and the guy had to do what was best for his family. But you can’t say that they didn’t try, nor that he didn’t give them time to come through. It’s just the unfortunate outcome of public education sometimes. In the end, it’s all working out for all involved and I don’t think there are any hard feelings amongst the involved parties. They all want what’s best for the community of Covina, and the pupils the school serves, and that’s what happening.

Love the glamour shot! Just what the valley needs, another hype guy! Good to know he has “ties” to div 1, 2, 3, etc. coaches. What the hell does that even mean? Covina unified having a difficult time getting successful head coaches since Sheehan debacle. 2 or 3 years max. This kid never had a chance.

    @ Colt 44,

Dale Ziola was not discarded. If anything, Covina tried hard to keep him. Ziola left on his own accord.

Dale Ziola discarded like an old shoe. Gotta get some young blood. Will teenagers respect being yelled at by someone 3 to 4 years older than them? It worked out for the Rams and Bengals.

The seminal point of this lavish resume is that the man has no head coaching experience. I look forward to more sensationalism, such as a CIF award for best first practice.
