  1. Kansas beat North Carolina 72-69 Monday night to win the NCAA Basketball Championship. 
  2. Tiger Woods confirmed he will play in the 2022 Masters. 
  3. Former Dodgers outfielder Tommy Davis passed away at the age of 83. Davis won two batting titles with the Dodgers and holds the Los Angeles record for hits (230) and RBI (153). 
  4. The Clippers have officially clinched the eighth seed in the Western Conference. 
  5. Three St. Peter’s star basketball players, Doug Edert, Daryl Banks III, and Matthew Lee all entered the transfer portal Tuesday. 
  6. Kentucky forward Oscar Tshiebwe won the 2022 Wooden Award. 
  7. The Dodgers open the 2022 season Thursday at Colorado. Walker Buehler will start for the Dodgers. 
  8. Former Minnesota Vikings defensive end Doug Sutherland, a member of the famed Purple People Eaters, died Tuesday at the age of 73. 
  9. Baseball: Arcadia beat Redondo 3-0 Tuesday to improve to 14-5 on the season. 
  10. On this day in 1987 Sugar Ray Leonard beat Marvelous Marvin Hagler at Ceasars Palace in Las Vegas.
