  1. The Rams re-acquired cornerback Troy Hill from the Cleveland Browns for a fifth-round draft pick in 2023. 
  2. Among the Rams eight draft picks in the 2022 NFL draft were Notre Dame running back Kyren Williams in the fifth round and UCLA defensive back Quentin Lake in the sixth round. 
  3. The Dodgers beat the Detroit Tigers 6-3 Sunday to improve to 14-7 on the season and take 2 of 3 from the Tigers in the series. The Dodgers are tied for first in the NL West with the San Francisco Giants.  
  4. Clayton Kershaw became the Dodgers all-time strikeout leader surpassing Don Sutton with his 2,697th Saturday night in a 5-1 loss to Detroit. 
  5. The Milwaukee Bucks beat the Boston Celtics 101-89 Sunday to take a 1-0 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinal playoff series. 
  6. The Golden State Warriors beat the Memphis Grizzlies 117-116 to take a 1-0 lead in the Western Conference semifinal playoff series. 
  7. The CIF SS baseball playoff brackets will be released Monday at 10:00 am. 
  8. The Angels have won 7 of their last 8 games to improve to 15-8, and are in first place in the AL West, 2.5 games ahead of the Seattle Mariners.  
  9. UCLA had the most draft picks in the Pac-12 in the 2022 NFL draft. 
  10. On this day in 1978 the Houston Oliers selected Texas running back Earl Campbell with the first overall pick in the NFL draft.
