  2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has agreed to a ten-year, $375 million contract with Fox Sports as its lead NFL analyst when his playing career ends. 
  3. The Rams will host the Denver Broncos on Christmas Day the NFL announced Tuesday. 
  4. The Kings beat the Edmonton Oilers 5-4  in overtime Tuesday night to take a 3-2 lead in their first round Western Conference playoff series.  
  5. The Dodgers beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 11-1 Tuesday to improve to 20-8 on the season. 
  6. Former NBA star center/Hall of Famer Bob Lanier passed away Tuesday at the age of 73. 
  7. Angels Rookie Reid Detmers threw a no-hitter in a 12-0 win over the Tampa Bay Rays Tuesday night. 
  8. Former Michigan State basketball star Adreian Payne, 31, was shot and killed in Orlando Florida early Monday while trying to help a woman engaged in a domestic dispute.  
  9. San Dimas fell to Villa Park 9-8 Tuesday in the 2nd round of the CIF Division 1 playoffs. 
  10. On this date in 1963 Sandy Koufax threw his second career no-hitter in the Dodgers 8-0 win over the San Francisco Giants.
