  2. Washington Commanders receiver Terry McLaurin signed a three-year extension worth up to $71 million. 
  3. The Birmingham Stallions will play the Philadelphia Stars Sunday in the USFL Championship game.

  5. Steve Clifford has rejoined the Charlotte Hornets has head coach. He was fired by the Hornets as HC in 2018. 
  6. Brooklyn guard Kyrie Irving is opting in to his $36.5 million option with the Nets next season. 
  7. Guard Russell Westbrook will exercise his $47.1 million option with the Lakers next season. 
  8. The Clippers have agreed to a three-year, $33 million extension with center Ivica Zubac. 
  9. Marlin Briscoe, who was the first black quarterback in the AFL more than 50 years ago, passed away Monday at the age of 76. 
  10. Former Boston Celtics assistant Will Hardy, 34 has agreed to five-year deal to become the new head coach of the Utah Jazz.
