  2. Late NFL star receiver Demaryius Thomas had CTE according to doctors from Boston University. Thomas passed away last December 9th. 
  3. Pasadena will host a 7 on 7 passing tournament this Saturday July 9th. 
  4. Zion Williamson signed a five-year extension that could be worth up to $231 million with the New Orleans Pelicans. 
  5. Dodgers’ outfielder Chris Taylor has a fracture in his left foot and will be out indefinitely.
  6. Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper, who suffered a fractured left thumb last month after getting hit by a pitch from the San Diego Padres’ Matt Snell, said he will return this season. 
  7. The Pac-12 has accelerated its negotiations for media rights in the wake of USC and UCLA moving to the Big Ten in 2024. 
  8. Longtime horse racing analyst and NFL reporter/ prognosticator Hank Goldberg passed away Monday on his 82nd birthday.
