  2. The Rams and the Bufalo Bills kick off the 2022 NFL season in 48 days.
  3. “The Captain” on ESPN. 
  4. The Cleveland Browns signed quarterback Josh Rosen to a one-year deal. 
  5. “Just what the dad said. They never really wanted to leave. They like what we do as a program, we’ve always had a good relationship and Nico’s close to a lot of the players.” – Warren head football coach Kevin Pearson on quarterback Nico Iamaleava returning to Warren. 
  6. Georgia HC Kirby Smart signed a new 10-year, $112.5 million contract with the Bulldogs. 
  7. Former NFL/ MLB star Bo Jackson helped pay for the funerals of 19 children and 2 teachers killed in the Uvalde school massacre in May.
  8. Tight End Kyle Rudolph signed a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 
  9. Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Charles Johnson passed away at the age of 50 it was reported Wednesday. 
  10. The San Francisco 49ers have given Jimmy Garoppolo’s agents permission to seek a trade for the quarterback.

    “THEY never really wanted to leave” — “THEY like what we do as a program” — Then why did THEY leave in the first place ? And are THEY both going to play quarterback this year ?
