  3. Chris Flores, AKA Coach Frogg, a well-known youth coach in Southern California prep football, was arrested Thursday in Bakersfield for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor. 
  4. The NBA will retire the number 6 worn by Boston Celtics legend Bill Russell the league announced Thursday. 
  5. The Baltimore Ravens extended their preseason winning streak to 21 games with a 23-10 victory over the Tennessee Titans Thursday night. 
  6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady will be away from the team for a period of time to deal with some “personal things.” 
  7. Former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch was asleep and smelled of alcohol when police found him in his damaged sports car and arrested him on suspicion for driving while intoxicated early Tuesday morning.
