  1. Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson will serve an 11-game suspension without pay after the NFL and NFL players association reached a settlement Thursday in his disciplinary matter. Watson was accused by more than two dozen women of sexual misconduct during massage sessions. 
  2.  Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles wouldn’t commit to a return date for quarterback Tom Brady who has been away from the team since August 11 to tend to personal things. 
  3. Dodgers TV reporter David Vassegh broke two bones in his right wrist and cracked six ribs when he slid down “Bernie’s Chalet”, a giant white slide, at Milwaukee’s American Family Field Wednesday.
  4. The Dodgers split the four-game series with the Brewers after a 5-3 loss in Milwaukee Thursday. 
  5. The Houston Astros had 25 hits in a 21-5 rout of the Chicago White Sox Thursday. 
  6. Houston Texans at Rams, Friday night, 7:00 p.m. SoFi Stadium. 
  7. The Big Ten finalized media contract rights with CBS, FOX and NBC for $8 billion over 7 years. 
  8. Chargers safety Derwin James Jr. agreed to a four-year, $76.4 million extension. 
  9. On this date in 1990 the Dodgers Jose Offerman homered in his first major league at bat. 
  10. LeBron James signed a two-year, $97.1 million extension with the Lakers.

    The Ranch has but a handful of seniors and few returning starters. But they have probably 150 years of coaching experience on their sidelines. They have a tough task but somehow manage to put a team on the field every year. Have a great season guys.
