Taking a page from an old formula have a good team like Charter Oak or La Serna play SGV All-Stars. Put a little real competition out there.

@ NWO: Who wouldn’t want to practice at San Gabriel High School, with its marvelous football facility? I have no idea about who the coach of the West team is, though.

“?” You clearly are not a math major….in addition you miss the mark on thinking that in any all star game it would showcase just a few players in each position playing the majority of the game. If you wanted to see that then you should have gone to the SJB/MD game.

It’s a fair guess that each team will keep its best linemen in for extended periods of time, rotating them only for breathers. The trenches are where the most important action takes place, where a game is usually won or lost.

Interesting. With give or take around 90 plays a game including punts and kickoffs, and thats for a prepared team, with a roster of 60 “East All Stars” each “All Star” will be lucky to play 4 snaps. QB’s 10 snaps each 4 passes. running backs 5 carries each, Receivers 1 1/2 targets each maybe 3/4 of a catch each. D-Line best chance to see more that a few plays. Your best chance to see your son on the field unless he was promised a lot of reps was if he started on D-line or in the pre game warn ups.
