With the recent announcements in the last week that the St. Paul, Monrovia and even the Glenn head football coach hires have been made it’s time to take a look at what jobs in our local coverage area are still open. There are more than you may think. Here are the schools still looking for a head coach as of now.
La Mirada: Out- Mike Moschetti

Pasadena: Out- DeJuan Shamburger
Gabrielino: Out- Lorenzo Mena
Arroyo: Out- Chuck Leonardis
Valley Christian: Out- Nick Walker
Pomona: Out- Leonard Hudson
Workman: Out- Anthony Folsom
*Note: As we get closer to the season I will post who’s in? Who’s out? – a complete list of all of the new coaches that have been hired this off season.
Matt V asking kids to hype him up for St Paul job he didn’t get. Matt V is overrated.
Matt V overhyped his demand with all his sock puppet accounts. Looks like there’s no takers. Not surprised at all. Stay off Twitter, and actually coach it up for a change! Quit being a clown!
That Pasadena one is interesting Maxie left for bp, if Pasadena the one I can think of that would have Maxie type impact and kids home is Milvon James
@Tim calls you make to inferior principles to hire your mediocre coaches, like Maxie.
From T. Peterson. No it never happened. I work for MVS. Not sure where you’re getting your information but it’s way off. Swing and a miss! Again!
Matt V will not take any of those jobs because he would be forced to coach, plus his rep is not favorable to any of the public schools.
I thought you had it under control Tim. It looks like your calls are not being answered!
From T. Peterson: What calls?
What about Mt. View’s field? I don’t think it will be ready either.
San Marino?
From T. Peterson: San Marino put out a press release last month that they hired Nate Turner as its head coach. I posted it. No retractions or information that anything has changed so we’re going with that. It was a press release by the school.
@tim you forgot the biggest free agent on the market Matty V. Interesting to see were he coaches this fall
I was driving by Arroyo last week, and noticed the visitors bleachers were gone. Construction equipment was in the stadium, just inside the solar panels. Will the venue be ready for action in the fall?
From T. Peterson: No, all of their 2023 games will be on the road. They were supposed to start construction last year but it got delayed. Stadium will be ready in 2024.
