  1. The Lakers unveiled a statue of Kobe Bryant Thursday honoring the late superstar with a 19-foot bronze likeness outside their arena.
  2. The Pro Football Hall of Fame will enshrine seven new members in 2024 including Julius Peppers, Dwight Freeney, Patrick Willis and Devin Hester. 
  3. The Dallas Cowboys are expected to name Mike Zimmer as their new defensive coordinator. 
  4. The San Francisco 49ers are two-point favorites over the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday in Super Bowl LVIII.

  6. Former USC DC Alex Grinch has been hired as the safeties coach and co-defensive coordinator at Wisconsin.
