  1. 123.7 million viewers watched Super Bowl LVIII on television and across streaming platforms Sunday which made it the most watched program in television history.
  2. A record $186.5 million was bet on Super Bowl LVIII at Nevada sportsbooks which was the most ever according to figures released Monday. 
  3. The Pittsburgh Steelers released quarterback Mitch Trubisky Monday. 
  4. The Detroit Lions signed defensive lineman Mathieu Betts who was named the Most Outstanding Defensive Player in the CFL last season with the B.C. Lions.  
  5. The United Football League kicks off the season March 30. 
  6.  The Orlando Magic retired Shaquille O’Neal’s number 32 jersey Tuesday night. 
  7. AP Men’s College Basketball Top 5: 1. UConn 2. Purdue 3. Houston 4. Marquette 5. Arizona. 
  8. Boys Basketball: Adrian Almaraz scored 21 points to lead Northview to a 72-53 win over Rancho Mirage Tuesday night and into the CIF Division 4A Semi Finals. 
  9. Citos Marinez, who coached Jurupa Hills to a CIF Division 8 championship last year, has been named the new head football coach at Rowland. Jurupa Hills beat Charter Oak 21-14 in the championship game. Marinez was also previously the head coach at Gladstone.     
  10. The Boston Celtics have the best record in the NBA at 42-12.
