  2. Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy ran a 4.21 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine which is a combine record according to the NFL. 
  3. Iowa star Caitlin Clark passed LSU’s “Pistol” Pete Maravich for the most points scored by a Division 1 basketball player Sunday in a win over Ohio St. 
  4. The Boston Celtics beat the Golden State Warriors 140-88 Sunday.  
  5. The San Francisco 49ers are expected to hire former Chargers HC Brandon Staley as assistant head coach.
  6. Former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker, two-time Super Bowl champ, Andy Russell passed away Friday at the age of 82. 
  7. The San Francisco Giants signed free agent third baseman Matt Chapman to a three-year, $54 million deal. 
  8. Lakers star LeBron James reached 40,000 career points in a loss to the Denver Nuggets Saturday night at Crypto.com Arena. 
  9. Former major league shortstop UL Washington, who spent eight years with the Kansas City Royals, passed away Sunday at the age of 70. 
  10. Former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel, the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner, said Saturday that he will not attend the annual Heisman Trophy ceremony until the NCAA returns former USC running back Reggie Bush’s trophy, which was stripped from him following NCAA sanctions.
