I’ve coached in 4 of these the last 26 years. My son played in one. Well run. Each time, it was a good experience, win or lose.

Leon Ward has been around from the beginning with Coach Jim Brownfield…This one has always been solid IMO…I was fortunate to be able to coach in the inaugural game in 1979…They played at Bergstrom /Arroyo back in those days! Happy to see it continue…

The SGV must be flooded with “All Star” football talent. It takes four games just to get them all on the field?

This used to be called the Hall of Fame game, it is now the North Vs South (10 Freeway) game, it is the longest running all star game in Southern California and it is not to be confused with the spectacles (debacles) of the winter all – star games.

This game has been going on for 45 years and is not some fly by night thing so that a couple of people can make some cash. If this one becomes a sideshow, then all all-star games need to be ceased.

Great, another Matt V and Maxie production! Who’s performing at halftime, and who gets fired after the game?
From T. Peterson: No, there’s no Matt V or Maxie in this one. This has been the longest running All-Star game in the SGV. It used to be called the Hall of Fame game. Leon Ward and Hector Spathias run it.
