Jimmy Welker is trash. He should have never been hired at Whittier or anywhere else. He has stolen LSU’s playbook from nearly 20 years ago and thinks he’s going to implement it with these high school kids. He makes the most bonehead calls. Example: what real coach would refuse to punt on 4th and 7 when on your own 6??? He gave the ball back to them right in their end zone. He literally got laughed off the field!!! He’s made a career off saying he was a quarterback on LSU’s championship winning squad in 2007. He was on the practice squad and was given playing time in 4 games where he recorded zero stats. Look him up! He’s never even made it to the 2 year mark in any job. He’s seriously trash! Warning to all high schools in the area: never hire this man!!!

Moyé has already tanked Arroyo, they’ll easily drop 3/5 in MVL already. SEM will be undefeated. Moye hasn’t won anywhere he has been. Awful awful hire for Arroyo.

I googled him and found nothing . It’s not reasonable to expect anything promising at Gab after the past few hires ; Gab is a basketball school now ( in hoop deprived MVL). Good luck with your season!

Good luck to all the new coaches taking over football programs. These guys put in so much time for very little pay. Some coaches don’t have the support of administrators yet fight through and make the best of their situation. Some teachers have no pride in their school and make it difficult for football players. Some programs have little money to sustain a basic football program. But, when you have support form admin, teachers, and have money to run a good football program it makes coaching football so gratifying. Despite all these obstacles as coaches you make boys into men by using football as a big part of their maturation mentally and physically. For all these reasons football coaches make some of the best people in our society!!!

    @ Bottom Line

I was about to post which I thought were the biggest upgrades and the biggest downgrades, but your comment put it in perspective. Kudos to both incoming and outgoing coaches.
