I always root for San Diego State because I like Brian Dutcher…but after all the whining about North Carolina being in the tourney, I was happy the Tar Heels won.

You have to wonder how some people keep their jobs in sports media. Anyone saying the Rams signing of Davante Adams was bad is clueless.

Adams is signed for two years at 44 million, but only 26 of those rocks are guaranteed. So, with just a little observation and effort, you can see it is a one-year deal that hamstrings neither the team nor the player if things go bad.

It’s a brilliant deal.

Staying on the Rams, I don’t know how the Chargers let Poona Ford change locker rooms at SoFi…

I’m good with Amos… I’d also be good with a trade out of the first round.

Last thought on the NFL…The Cincinnati Bengals had Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins last season, and they missed the playoffs. They have them all back this coming season for more money… what will be different?

Always glad when there is more football, so I’m glad that APU is bringing back football. But honestly, the decision to move up to D-2 wasn’t that long ago.

I know the argument was about travel, yet they had to know that when they made the move in 2012. Dixie State in St. George, Utah, was the opponent then.

Either they weren’t all in, or they just made a terrible decision. It seems apparent that they’re into D-2 with a D-3/NAIA mindset.

My other thought was, okay, drop football and then put all your capital into the basketball program like Cal Baptist did…But they didn’t even do that.

A lot of people are happy, great. Football is back! But I see a missed opportunity for Zu Nation.
