  1. Boston’s Jason Tatum ruptured his right Achilles tendon in the fourth quarter of Monday night’s 121-113 loss to the New York Knicks. Tatum underwent surgery Tuesday. The Knicks lead the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals series 3-1. 
  2. The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Golden State Warriors 117-110 Monday night to take a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference Semi-Finals series. 
  3. The Indiana Pacers beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 114-105 Tuesday night to win the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals series in five games.  
  4. The Dallas Mavericks won the NBA Draft Lottery Monday night and will have the first pick in the draft on June 25. 
  5. Gabrielino running back AJ Tran has committed to Whittier College. The football program has returned at Whittier and the Poets will begin play in 2026. 
  6. Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred removed Pete Rose, “Shoeless” Joe Jackson and other deceased players from Major League Baseball’s permanently ineligible list Tuesday. 
  7. The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Denver Nuggets 112-105 Tuesday night to take a 3-2 lead in the Western Conference Semi-Finals series. 
  8. Despite various rumors the Mavericks do not plan on trading the number one pick and have their eye on Duke’s Cooper Flagg. 
  9. The First game announced on the Monday Night Football schedule will feature the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles at the Green Bay Packers on November 10. 
  10. “If Pete Rose gets into the Hall of Fame after breaking baseball’s cardinal sin, it should certainly open the door for Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens and even those like A-Rod and Rafael Palmeiro who were suspended for PED use.” USA Today baseball columnist Bob Nightengale on Twitter (X).

    @ Tim B: I believe Dock Ellis, who pitched for the Pittsburgh Pirates, said that he threw a no-hitter while he was high on LSD. That happened back in the early 1970’s.

    Its a slippery slope with Rose. Did he change his lineups and make choices on pitching based on bets? If he wasted his entire pitching staff to win a bet then he didnt deserve reinstatement. He was going at the foundation of the sport. If its true hundreds tested positive during the steroids era, then Bonds, McGwire should be considered. Every era had drugs. Tony Gwynn once said there was speed pills in one of the jugs of gatorade tubs. Being in San Diego I heard that more than once. All jacked up increases bat speed and focus. I heard someone pitched a no-no on hallucinogenics. Its a great topic!

    Rose is dead, put him in the HOF for all the in game accomplishments
    Add a note his plaque that says lifetime ban is over
