- The Athletics will play back-to-back series at the Las Vegas Ballpark next season. Las Vegas Ballpark is the home of the Las Vegas Aviators, the Triple-A team of the Athletics.
- Receiver Amari Cooper is returning to the Las Vegas Raiders on a one-year deal.
- Angels manager Ron Washington said he had bypass heart surgery and has been recovering for the last eight weeks. He hopes to return as the Angels manager next season.
- Shedeur Sanders made the Cleveland Browns roster but he will be the number three quarterback behind starter Joe Flacco and backup Dillon Gabriel.
- USC will host Missouri State Saturday at the Coliseum at 4:30 PM to kick off the 2025 season.
- UCLA will host Utah Saturday at the Rose Bowl at 8:00 PM to kick off the 2025 season.
- Texas Rangers right-hander Nathan Eovaldi is likely out for the season with a rotator cuff strain. Eovaldi, with an 11-3 record and an ERA of 1.73 was one of the favorites for the AL Cy Young Award.
- Dodgers reliever Alex Vesia was placed on the injured list Tuesday with a right oblique strain.
