(Pasadena, CA) The San Dimas Saints traveled west to Pasadena to take on the Pasadena Bulldogs in the second game for each team in the 2025 season. The Saints unleashed Jacob Gallegos and Liam Loyola on the Bulldogs. The two racked up 226-yards and four touchdowns as San Dimas outlasted Pasadena 33-24.
For their part, the Bulldogs relied heavily on their air assault with Dutch Burbridge throwing for 278-yards and four scores to keep the game close.
Things started well for Pasadena who received the opening kickoff and needed only three plays to cover 62-yards. The big play on the drive was a 48-yard catch and run from Burbridge to Damari Pitts. The extra point was blocked but the Bulldogs had the early lead 6-0.

The Saints got their first points on the night on a gift from Pasadena with just under three minutes to play in the opening frame.
Pinned deep in their own side of the field on fourth and long, the Bulldog punt team came on to kick it away but the snap took the punter out of the endzone for a safety.
San Dimas received the free kick at the Pasadena 44 and marched to a score on five plays. Gallegos got the call from 14-yards away and took care of business for his first score of the night. Brady Arriaga added the extra point for a 9-6 lead.
Early in the second the Saints increased their lead to 10 on Gallegos’ second score of the evening.
With just six seconds left in the first half San Dimas added to their lead with a 22-yard Arriage field goal.
The Saints received the ball to start the second half and went on a 13 play that ate up time off the clock on 62-yards on the field. This time it was Loyola who got the call and the score to cap the drive.
Down 26-6 the Bulldogs were in need of a score to get back in the game and after a short San Dimas punt, that’s just what they did.

Pasadena needed only three plays to cover 46-yards with Burbridge finding one of his favorites on the night, Kyle Robertson from 15-yards out. The Bulldogs went for two but the conversion failed.
With 10:53 left in the fourth, Pasadena cut the lead to eight when Burbridge called his own number from one yard out. Once again the two point conversion failed.
San Dimas extended their lead back to 15 when Gallegos scored again to cap an 11 play 61-yard drive.
Pasadena showed they still had life in them on the ensuing drive needing only four plays to cover 71-yards with Burbridge connecting again with Robertson on a 32-yard catch and carry.
When the two point conversion failed, the Bulldogs trailed by nine but would not see the ball again in the game as the Saints ran out the clock.
Up next for Pasadena is a trip south to take on Norwalk while San Dimas will travel east to take on Colony.
