  1. USC beat Purdue 33-17 Saturday to improve to 3-0 on the season. 
  2. Notre Dame lost to Texas A&M 41-40 Saturday to fall to 0-2 on the season. 
  3. AP College Football Top 5: 1. Ohio St. 2. Penn St. 3. LSU 4. Miami 5. Georgia. 
  4. The Chargers are at the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football at 7:00 PM on ESPN. 
  5. The Rams beat the Tennessee Titans 33-19 Sunday to improve to 2-0.  
  6. Schurr’s Caesar Aguila had 5 receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown, 11 tackles and a fumble recovery and returned 2 kickoffs for a total of 69 yards Friday night in the Spartans 28-23 win over Chino. 
  7. Alhambra’s Halen Tsang had 10 carries for 110 yards and 4 touchdowns in the Moors 55-19 win over Azusa Friday night. 
  8. Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh tied Mickey Mantle’s season record for most home runs by a switch hitter with his 54th Sunday in an 11-2 win over the Angels. 
  9. Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow had to leave the game in the first half against the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday with a left toe injury. The Bengals went on to win the game 31-27 behind backup quarterback Jake Browning. 
  10. The Dodgers remained 2.5 games ahead of the second place San Diego Padres in the NL West after a 10-2 win over the San Francisco Giants Sunday.
