  2. Cal Raleigh hit his 59th and 60th home runs Wednesday night as the Seattle Mariners beat the Colorado Rockies 9-2 to clinch the AL West.
  3. Shohei Ohtani hit his 54th home run in the Dodgers win to tie a career high.
  4. Monrovia quarterback Jesse Saucedo suffered a partially torn ACL in a win over Baldwin Park Friday night and is out for the season.
  5. USC at Illinois, Saturday 9:00 AM, FOX.
  6. Former Monrovia quarterback Brian Salazar threw for 400 yards and five touchdowns to lead Citrus College to a 48-43 win over Mt. SAC Saturday night.
  7. El Rancho cornerback Isaiah Sandoval was named Art’s Barbershop Week 4 Player of the Week after he had four interceptions in a 27-17 win over Fontana.
  8. The Seattle Seahawks beat the Arizona Cardinals 23-20 on Thursday Night Football.
  9. The Detroit Tigers beat the Cleveland Guardians 4-2 Thursday night and the two teams are now tied for first [place in the AL Central with three games left.
  10. UCLA will face Northwestern on the road Saturday in its first game since DeShaun Foster was fired.
