  1. Number 12 seed High Point upset number 5 seed Wisconsin 83-82 Thursday in the first round of the NCAA Men’s West Regional.
  2. Number 1 seed Duke escaped with a 71-65 win over Siena Thursday in the first round of the East Regional.
  3. Nebraska beat Troy 76-47 in the first round Thursday for its first NCAA Tournament win in program history.
  4. Atlanta Braves outfielder Jurickson Profar was suspended for the entire 2026 season by MLB for testing positive a second time for a performance enhancing drug. Profar appealed the decision that was announced earlier this month but the appeal was resolved.
  5. Former Cincinnati Bengals and Dallas Cowboys linebacker Logan Wilson announced his retirement after six seasons.
  6. The WBC title game between the United States and Valenzuela Tuesday night was seen by 10, 784, 000 viewers on Fox which was nearly double the amount that watched Japan beat the U.S. in 2023.
  7. The Carolina Panthers are trading veteran quarterback Andy Dalton to the Philadelphia Eagles for a 2027 seventh-round pick.
  8. UCLA will face UCF Friday in the first round of the East Regional in the NCAA Tournament.
  9. The Lakers, at 44-25, are currently the third seed in the Western Conference.
  10. North Carolina blew a 19-point lead and lost to VCU 82-78 in overtime Thursday in the first round of the NCAA South Regional.
