(San Dimas) – San Dimas named Dylan O’Leary as its new head football coach he confirmed Thursday. For O’Leary it’s a return home to his alma mater. He played quarterback for the Saints graduating in 2019.

For the last four years O’Leary has been the offensive coordinator at South Hills. Although O’Leary played at San Dimas he plans to implement some changes to the offense that the Saints have been running for years.

“I’m bringing in a new OC. We are definitely getting away from the wing T. I also have some very notable names on staff,” O’Leary said.

O’Leary takes over for Mark Holman who stepped down in December after 11 years. The Saints went 7-6 overall last year and advanced to the CIF Division 9 Semi-Finals before falling to Valley Christian.

“I’m very excited. I met with the team today and I felt back at home. Definitely grateful to have the opportunity to give back to the school that helped shape my life and make San Dimas football a staple in the community,” O’Leary added.
