- Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson was arrested on a felony domestic violence charge Monday night the LAPD confirmed.
- The Cincinnati Bengals restructured quarterback Joe Burrow’s contract which will allow the team to gain $10 million in cap space for the upcoming season.
- The World Cup begins Thursday June 11th with the United States Men’s National team facing Paraguay at SoFi Stadium this Friday at 6:00 PM.
- The Atlanta Hawks signed head coach Quin Snyder to a multi-year contract extension.
- The LA Kings hired Peter Laviolette as their new head coach. Laviolette, 61, last coached the New York Rangers in the 2025-’25 season. The Kings fired head coach Jim Hiller in February and D.J. Smith finished the season as interim coach.
- A Texas judge ruled that Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby is allowed to play in the wake of his sports gambling admissions. However, the Big 12 athletic directors held a call Tuesday with commissioner Brett Yormark to underscore that the league’s athletic directors – except Texas Tech’s Kirby Hocutt – are united around the notion that Sorsby should not be eligible for next season.
