The Angels were blasted in St. Louis yesterday, 12-5, done in by Cardinals catcher Ivan Herrera’s three home runs and six runs batted in.

Mike Trout’s first home run of the season was lost in the contest, as was Logan O’Hoppe’s grand slam.

Still, the club’s off to a surprising 4-2 start, making fans hopeful. Read more »

All love to the ‘Gingers’ of the world, but the Athletics were smacked around like the proverbial ‘red-headed step-child.’

Fans attending the Sacramento debut on Monday evening saw fighter jets, fireworks, and 28 Rickey Hendersons on the field. All that couldn’t save A’s from the Cubs’ 18-3 drubbing. Read more »

Those Deferred BenchWarmers

It’s great to have Dodger Baseball back in our lives, especially with the excitement of Ring Ceremonies, Comeback wins, and Walk-off Homeruns. So far, it’s been especially great, as the Dodgers have started 5-0 for the first time since 1981, and joined the 1985 Tigers (5-0), 1934 Giants (6-0), and 1933 Yankees (7-0) as the only Defending Champions to start their title defense 5-0.
