South Secures Second Round Win! 49-29

By Tim Peterson (South El Monte) – South El Monte broke open a close game with a 23-6 run in the fourth quarter and went on to beat Orange 49-29 Friday night in the second round of the CIF Division 5A playoffs.

Chino Tabs Arellano

By Tim Peterson (Chino) – Chino has named Alex Arellano III as the new head football coach. Arellano, a Chino alum who played for the school, was most recently an assistant coach at the University of La Verne where he coached wide receivers.
