It’s a Rio Hondo Prep Repeat, 43-16

By Tim Peterson (Arcadia) – Rio Hondo Prep rushed for 313 yards and five touchdowns in a 43-16 rout of Warren Friday night to win the CIF Division 7 Championship at Arcadia High School. The Kares have now won back-to-back CIF titles after winning in Division 9 last year.

What a Rush! Kares Headed to Finals!

By Tim Peterson (Baldwin Park) – Rio Hondo Prep rushed for 463 yards and six touchdowns and ran over West Torrance 42-21 in the process at Kare Park Friday night in the CIF Division 7 Semi-Finals. The Kares earned a trip to their second consecutive CIF Championship game with the resounding victory.

Second Half Run Propels Golden Eagles Over Cougars

Dobbins’ Run Does it for Chargers, 34-27

By Tim Peterson (Inglewood) -J.K. Dobbins broke off a 29-yard touchdown run with 18 seconds left to lift the Chargers to a 34-27 win over Cincinnati Sunday night before 70, 240 fans at SoFi Stadium.

Cougars Fast Start Doesn’t Hold up in Loss to Western Washington
