Mid Valley High School Football Top 12
Everybody in the Top 12 won in Week 6 except Bishop Amat. No big changes this week but La Serna did jump up a spot with a big win and Amat’s loss. Bonita pressing Damien for the top as the Bearcats just keep on winning. Northview-San Dimas is huge this week.
Duronslet’s Dash Carries Colts to Finish Line
By Tim Peterson (Covina)- Jake Duronslet dashed into the end zone from eight yards out with 16 seconds left in the fourth quarter to give Covina a 23-18 win over Los Altos Friday night at Covina District Field.

Big Second Half Lifts Trojans to First Big Ten Win
By Tim Peterson (Los Angeles) – USC outscored Wisconsin 28-0 in the second half to erase an 11-point halftime deficit in a 38-21 win over the Badgers Saturday before 74, 118 at United Airlines Field at the LA Memorial Coliseum. This marked the first Big Ten Conference win for the Trojans.
Saints Are Vigil(ant) in Victory
By Tim Peterson (Monrovia) – Julian Vigil rushed for 240 yards and two touchdowns to lead San Dimas to a 42-14 rout of Monrovia Friday night at Monrovia High.

Kares Make Quick Work of Bellflower
By Tim Peterson (Irwindale) – Rio Hondo Prep raced out to a 37-0 halftime lead and had a running clock in the third quarter in a 44-6 rout of Bellflower Friday night at Kare Park in Irwindale.
