Arcadia is the cream of the Old School crop but Monrovia isn’t far behind. Arroyo struggled but won while Rosemead is chewing up yards on the ground. If Duarte beats Azusa this week, then yes the Falcons are for real. Hello Temple City? Temple City? Anybody there?
Mid-Valley Division Top 20
Covina hangs on until Livingston comes back while San Dimas has a field day. Maranatha remains unbeaten and Monrovia gets back on track. Arroyo escapes while The La Puente High School wins its fifth straight and is heading for a showdown with Azusa. P-Town is still a player in the V-Vista.
Sheehan Boots South Hills to Victory
By Corey Kwok (Covina) – Danny Sheehan completed 10 of 25 in the air for 129 yards and a touchdown and kicked the eventual game-winning 27 yard field goal with 10.1 seconds left to give South Hills a 31-28 win over Los Osos Thursday night at Covina District Field.
All Saints at Citrus
(Citrus College) – San Dimas rushed for 331 yards and four touchdowns on the ground in a 42-6 rout of Nogales Thursday night in Valle Vista League play.
