By Tim Peterson (Azusa) – Chavez scored two runs in the top of the ninth inning and then held off Azusa in the bottom half to beat the Aztecs 8-6 in nine innings to win the CIF State Regional Division V championship Saturday at Azusa Pacific.

Charter Oak Wins Charter Oak Big Lou Memorial Super 7 Tournament

(Covina) – Charter Oak beat Bishop Amat in the Final to win the Charter Oak Big Lou Memorial Super 7 Tournament Saturday. The Chargers knocked off St. Francis in overtime in the Semi-Finals while Bishop Amat beat San Dimas. Here are a few more shots:
