USC Athletic Director Pat Haden and Vice President for Athletic Compliance Dave Roberts spent the last two days in Indianapolis meeting with NCAA officials including NCAA President Mark Emmert. Here is a statement from Haden on the meeting:

Not a disrespect of Downey’s schedule, but of what Norwalk is doing. Even with Frankie Palmer La Serna seems to get overlooked. Has Bonita played its best ball, and don’t look now but Muir might be priming itself for a deep run out of a suddenly deep Pacific League.
