Jim "His Arroyo Baldness" Singiser optimistic about Knights in '09
“Yeah, I’m feeling good,” said Jim Singiser. “We have about 120 out so yeah, I’m happy about that.”
Now we are not picking Arroyo to win the Mission Valley League just yet (so no angry emails Matt Koffler and you people in the Mead)…but I would be smiling too if my returning quarterback was only a sophomore with a year of experience under his belt in Steven Rivera…A running back with speed and the ability to punish in Mike Vasquez…and a serial hitter in Mike Chavez.
Did we even mention Chris Rodriguez?
Singiser wasn’t as emotional as he was at the end of the first round of the playoffs in 2008 but the season is still there. “We were in it against Walnut, Claremont, Northview, and TC.”
Payback is coming.
