After upsetting Oak Ridge the previous night, the Bonita girls could not repeat the feat against Apollo of Gilbert, AZ as they dropped its semi-final game 67-65.
In what was described as a heartbreaking loss, the Bearcats will now play for third place in the Nike Tournament of Champions.
Madison Zylstra led the team with 22 points, while Taylor Anderson finished with 17 and Nikki Wheatley finished with 14 on the evening.
