Muir’s Brandon Jackson Fatally Shot

(Altadena) – Muir football player Brandon Jackson was killed Saturday night in an apparent drive by shooting in Altadena authorities said.

Jackson, a junior, played fullback and linebacker for the Mustangs and scored a touchdown in Muir’s win over Pasadena in the Turkey Tussle in November.

Muir Coach Ken Howard described Jackson as a “good guy, a bubbly guy, a guy that always walked around with a smile.”

Jackson was killed after being called over to a car and then shot Saturday night after leaving a party in the 300 block of W. Palm Street

Jackson was looking forward to his senior season at Muir where Howard was counting on him to an integral part of the Mustang program. Jackson had 29 tackles in his just completed junior season.

The suspects are still at large as the Police investigation continues.
