High School Softball Top 25

Sydney La Follette is helping South Hills start out strong in Sierra League.

Not many changes with the abbreviated schedule due to the inclement weather.

This week many make-up games either because of scheduling conflicts or rain.

  1. Bonita (11-2) – Bearcats get a rare week off due to rain.
  2. South Hills (8-3) – Promising start to Sierra League.
  3. Glendora (7-3) – Tartans play tough week of games for beginning of Baseline League.
  4. Crescenta Valley (8-1) – Falcons score 45 runs against Muir and Hoover.
  5. La Canada (3-3) – Three games in three days after rain out last week.
  6. Charter Oak (8-5) – Chargers shut down by St. Lucy’s.
  7. La Serna (6-2) – Litmus test comes against Whittier Christian this week.
  8. Bishop Amat (7-1) – Lancers face struggling La Salle to begin the week.
  9. Northview (8-4) – Rebounded nicely after loss to Bonita and La Serna with two wins.

10.  Montebello (8-2) – Until Oilers are challenged in Almont will remain near the top.

11.  San Marino (7-3) – Michelle Floyd is 7-2 to start the season.

12.  Maranatha (6-2) – Minutemen get week off before tough Olympic League schedule starts.

13.  Duarte (7-1) – Falcons rolling through Montview.

14.  Cerritos (5-1) – Back-to-back match-up games against Mayfair postponed this week.

15.  Village Christian (5-3) – Begin Savanna Tournament against Crescenta Valley this week.

16.  San Dimas (6-5) – Face Northview at the end of the week.

17.  West Covina (5-3) – After rough start Bulldogs starting to roll.

18.  Temple City (7-3) – Will see if rain out had any negative effect of bats.

19.  Whittier Christian (7-4) – Big win over Highlanders before the rains came.

20.  Mayfair (5-5) – Will have to wait to face Cerritos.

21.  Arroyo (3-5) – Have unexpected visitor at the top in Gabrielino.

22.  Valley Christian (7-7) – Crusaders return to top 25 before the Spring Break.

23.  Los Altos (7-2) – Hottest team in the Mid are the Conquerors who have won seven straight.

24.  Burroughs (5-3) – Indians Pacific League schedule gets tough with game against Crescenta Valley.

25.  Keppel (6-4) – Should be higher if not for growing pains of early season.
