(Rosemead) – Wednesday’s Arroyo-Rosemead baseball game at Rosemead was canceled due to a flooded field. Apparently the water was left on over night by the construction crew rendering the field impossible to play on. The game has been rescheduled for Friday May 13.
Originally the teams were sent to Rosemead Park next door but that field was ruled unsafe. Arroyo Coach D.J. MacKinnon suggested the game should be played at Arroyo but it was a home game for Rosemead and they had the call. Now both teams will have three games next week – Tuesday, Thursday aand Friday.
