Tuttle Takes over at Glendale

(Glendale) – Long time area assistant John Tuttle has been named the new Head Coach at Glendale. Tuttle played his high school ball at San Marino where he was the quarterback.

Tuttle, known as “Gypsy” John Tuttle because of his numerous coaching stops, has had stints as an assistant at Monrovia, Temple City, San Marino, and Duarte.

Tuttle, 34, has been an assistant for the last two years at Glendale under Al Eberhart, who stepped down after the season. The Nitros finished 2-8 in 2011 with both of their victories coming over city rival Hoover. They were 1-6 in the Pacific League.
