3.) Former UNLV (Long Beach St., Fresno St.) legendary basketball coach Jerry Tarkanian suffers mild heart attack.

4.) Workman Lobos (junior) running back Justin Snedden in 2011: 151 carries, 1,001 rushing yards, and six touchdowns.

5.) “Would Phil Simms have won that Super Bowl if Scott Norwood hadn’t been wide right?” ESPN’s Colin Cowherd. (In that particular Super Bowl Jeff Hostetler was the winning quarterback.)

6.) La Puente football HC Brandon Rohrer is 25-8 in three seasons.
