(Rancho Cucamonga) – Darren Kerfoot tossed a complete game shutout and Brendan Toy hit a solo shot to lead Arcadia to a 3-0 win over Rancho Cucamonga Tuesday at the Rancho Tournament.
Kerfoot struck out four, allowed four hits and did not walk a batter. Brendan Campbell went two for four at the plate and David Dominguez blasted an RBI double for Arcadia
early in the game as well. The Apaches had nine hits overall.
Arcadia (5-1) plays Carter of Rialto Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. in Rancho Cucamonga Cougar Classic semifinal. The winner goes to the championship game at a time and site to be determined.
