1.) Former Whittier Christian linebacker Tim Sanchez is transfering from Trinity College to APU and is expected to play in 2012.

6.) Three years ago today Alhambra beat Gahr 3-2 in the first round of CIF on a Cody Heaton base hit. The victory was also number 200 in Steve Gewecke’s career coaching the Moors.

8.) Two years ago today former MLB & Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Jose Lima died of a heart attack. He was 37.

9.) San Gabriel wide receiver Gustavo Ramirez: 5-10, 175.

10.) Gus Viramontes led Diamond Ranch to back to back Southeast Division finals in 2008 & 2009.
