- Bam Adebayo of the Miami Heat scored 83 points in a 150-129 win over the Washington Wizards Tuesday night. It was the second highest scoring game in NBA history, passing Kobe Bryant’s 81 on January 22, 2006. Adebayo only trails Wilt Chamberlain who had a 100-point game.
- The Las Vegas Raiders announced that the Baltimore Ravens have backed out of a trade agreement that would have sent All-Pro defensive end Maxx Crosby to Baltimore for two first-round draft picks. Sources say that Baltimore backed out due to medical concerns after Crosby’s physical.
- The United States lost to Italy 8-6 Tuesday in the World Baseball classic.
- The New York Jets acquired quarterback Geno Smith from the Las Vegas Raiders Tuesday for a sixth-round and a seventh-round pick in 2026. It will be Smith’s second stint with the Jets.
- The Philadelphia Eagles signed free agent cornerback Riq Woolen to a one-year deal worth up to $15 million. Woolen was with the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks last year.
- The New England Patriots signed former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs to a four-year, $80 million deal.
- Sierra Vista Boys Basketball head coach Earl Sanchez has stepped down after eight seasons.
- Wide receiver Mike Evans leaves the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to sign a three-year, $60.4 million deal with the San Francisco 49ers.
- The Rams have signed cornerbacks Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson to contracts totaling a combined $175 million in the last week.
- The Dodgers are 12-6 in Spring Training. The Angels are 8-12.
