MaxPreps stats were not updated for West Covina’s final two games last season. Aaron Salgado’s 2011 offensive stats:
141 Carries, 1,016 Yards, 7.2 Average YPC, TD’s 16
Receiving: 4 catches, 65 yards, 21.7 average
West Covina had an amazing three backs all rush for 1,000 plus yards last season!
La Mirada ‘s 2 backs, Hills and Carrasco , are going to have a great year. If teams want to focus on stopping the run, our QB’s will tear them apart. Were got a returning All-CIF WR in Shipp, All-CIF TE Luatua, and many more good WR’s. Plus we have a huge O-line to dominate the trenches, wants not to like?
Purplefan- Thanks. That’s good info. And they’re both back! Looks like a good year for the Lancers.
Just for your info…………5 games of stats were not submitted to Maxpreps for Norwalk. Just looked on there, so those total yards that you have for Jacquise Hooper and Rashaad Penny are not correct. Rashaad had over 1,400 yards and Jacquise over 800.
My top picks are Reggie Burner Turner from Bonita if you give him the ball and Jake Heavy Medal if you can give him one block.
