SGV Shootout Set for Saturday

They’ve been throwing every day at Arroyo since April anyway haven’t they? Ok well not everyday but it sure seems that way. This Saturday July 7, the Knights will host the monster of all passing leagues as they host the SGV Shootout where 24 area teams will converge at Arroyo High to chuck the ball around. Here are the leagues represented as well as the breakdown of the pools. Start time: 9:00 AM

MVL – Arroyo, Mt. View, Rosemead, South El Monte

Rio Hondo – Monrovia, Temple City

Almont- Bell Gardens, Alhambra, San Gabriel

Valle Vista -  Northview, Baldwin Park

Montview- Gladstone, Workman, Azusa, La Puente

Olympic- Maranatha, Whittier Christian

Hacienda – West Covina, Bonita, Diamond Bar

Pacific- Arcadia, Crescenta Valley,

Mt. Baldy- Montclair

Freeway- Buena Park

 

Pool A – Arroyo, West Coivna, Whittier Christian, Montclair

Pool B -Mountain View, Diamond Bar, Temple City, Bell Gardens

Pool C – Maranatha, Rosemead, Buena Park, Gladstone

Pool D – Baldwin Park, South El Monte, Azusa, Monrovia

Pool E – Arcadia, Northview, La Puente, San Gabriel

Pool F – Bonita, Workman, Alhambra, Crescenta Valley

    What’s that did Mt. View win there pool and go 4-1….. The View is for real this year. The Views outside linebacker/ full back is a beast…..

    Alhambra will run the spread. They have enough skill position players and don’t really have a guy to pound it 20 times a game. My pool winners at the SGV Shootout are from A- F – Arroyo, Bell Gardens, Maranatha, Monrovia, San Gabriel, and Alhambra… But don’t bet your house on it.
