Upland 34 Muir 6

Muir HC John Hardy

The John Hardy era at Muir got off to a rocky start as the Mustangs were corralled in Upland by the Scots thanks to two touchdowns from senior running back Adonis Harrison.

The Highlander defense stymied the Mustangs, limiting them to 112 yards of total offense. But the Mustangs were also buried under an avalanche of penalties, losing 145 yards on 20 flags over the course of the game. Muir’s only highlight came off a fumbled punt, as quarterback Josh Anderson hit Maseon Tevon for a 27-yard score for the first score of the game.
