The Oilers needed a last-minute touchdown by Matthew Saenz to break a 17-17 tie with the Roughriders, giving them a sweep of the home-and-home series with the City Eastern League stalwart. Saenz put the Oilers on the Roosevelt 6 after a 32-yard strike to Edgar Gonzalez then ran the ball in himself with 11 seconds to go in the game.Saenz went 19 for 27 for 180 yards. He threw one touchdown and rushed for two, uincluding the game winner.
