NFL Films President Steve Sabol Dies

If you love football, it might be because of this guy. Steve Sabol, 1942-2012, was the president of NFL Films.

Steve Sabol, and his father Ed Sabol, created NFL Films and changed the way America saw football. They are a large reason why the NFL supplanted baseball as the country’s favorite sport. Ed Sabol was recently elected to the NFL Hall of Fame for his contributions.

Steve Sabol, 69, died Tuesday of brain cancer.
