It’s safe to say that six of the top seven teams in the Mid-Valley won’t lose another game in the regular season. Monrovia and San Marino will face each other so there’s a loss for somebody there (probably San Marino) but the rest of them should run through their respective leagues.
Baldwin Park and Gabrielino were exposed while Pomona continues to surprise. Rosemead earned a hard fought win over Mt. View. Yes Mt. View. These aren’t your daddy’s Vikes.
1. Monrovia (5-1) – The Rio Hondo rout begins.
2. Paraclete (2-4) – Spirits finally start league with Bentwood.
3. Arroyo (5-1) – Knights ended all the talking with Gabrielino.
4. San Marino (5-1) – Titans win but South Pas kept it closer than expected.
5. Sierra Canyon (2-4) – Blazers fall short vs. Nordhoff; Viewpoint this week.
6. Bell Gardens (5-1) – Lancers annhilate Alhmbra; best in Almont?
7. San Dimas (3-4) – Saints drop seventy on Baldwin Park.
8. Viewpoint (6-1) – The thing about the Patriots is they just keep winning.
9. Pomona (6-0) – Red Devils should be undefeated going into San Dimas game.
10. Rosemead (5-1) – It was a struggle but Panthers got it done against View.
11. Northview (5-2) – Vikings fall to Pomona; looking like third place team in the Valle Vista.
12. Windward (4-1) – Wildcats kill Kilpatrick.
13. Montebello (3-3) – Oilers roll double nickles on Keppel; BG October 25.
14. Covina (3-4) – Colts trying to stay in the playoff hunt.
15. Baldwin Park (5-1) – From the coin flip to the final gun, that was ugly.
16. Mt. View (3-3) – Even in defeat, Vikes showed their mettle.
17. Schurr (2-4) – Spartans lay the wood to SG; Now they get BG.
18. Gabrielino (4-2) – The Eagles came, they saw, they were flattened.
19. South Pasadena (3-3) – A 15 point loss to San Marino really isn’t that bad.
20. La Canada (3-3) – Does a rout of Blair even count?
